THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION NO. 190 OF 2003
WAS ADOPTED AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD
ON MARCH 25, 2003:
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby authorizes and directs
Supervisor Joshua Y. Horton to enter into an extension to the lease aereement between the
Town of Southold and Leander Glover, Jr. for the use of a storage facility for the purpose of
providing winter storage for equipment used by the Southold Town Highway Department and
Public Works Department located on Cox Lane, Cutchogue, at a cost of $500.00 per month, on a
month-to-month basis.

Dear Mr. Glover:
Enclosed please find the following fully executed lease agreements for the
Town's use of your storage facility:
Lease Agreement for a term of four (4) months commencing 12/1/02 through
3/3 t/03
Lease Agreement extension of above mentioned lease on a month-to-month
basis 'beginning April 1, 2003
The monthly rental of your facility, as agreed, is $500.00 per month. A check in
the amount of $2,000.00, representing payments for February, March, April, and May
2003, will be sent to you after Superintendent Harris has submitted a signed payment
voucher to Accounting and check approval is given by the Southold Town Board.
Thereafter, $500.00 monthly rental payments will continue to be issued on or about the
tst of each month until the lease is terminated.

LEASE AGREEMENT
This Agreement is made between LEANDER GLOVER, JR.~ residing at
815 Cox Lane, Cutchogue, New York, 11935, as Landlord, and the TOWN OF
SOUTHOLD, 53095 Route 25, P.O. Box 1179, Southold, New York 1197t, as
Tenant.
The Landlord hereby leases to Tenant a storage facility on Cox Lane,
Cutchogue, New York, for the purpose of providing year-round storage for
equipment used by both the Southold Highway and Public Works Departments.
The vehicles stored in this facility and the Town employees using this
facility shall be covered by the Town of Southold's blanket insurance liability
policy.
It is agreed that the Southold Town Highway and Public Works
Departments shall have unlimited access to said storage facility for the
inspection, addition, or removal of any equipment owned by the Town of
Southold.
This lease shall be for a term of four (4) months, commencing December
1, 2002, and ending March 31, 2003, at the monthly rental rate of Five Hundred
($500.00) dollars per month, payable on the first (1st) day of each month.
At the expiration of the terms of this agreement, the Tenant shall deliver
the premises in good order.

Suoervisor Joshua Y. Horton to enter into a lease a~reement between the Town of Southold
and Leander Glover, Jr. for the use of a storage facility for the purpose of providing winter
storage for equipment used by the Southold Town Highway Department and Public Works
Department located on Cox Lane, Cutchogue, for a period of four (4) months beginning
December 1, 2002 through March 13, 2003 at a cost of $500.00 per month, total rent not to
exceed $2,000.00

LEASE AGREEMENT
This Agreement is made between LEANDER GLOVER, JR.~ residing at
815 Cox Lane, Cutchogue, New York, 11935, as Landlord, and the TOWN OF

Tenant.
The Landlord hereby leases to Tenant a storage facility on Cox Lane,
Cutchogue, New York, for the purpose of providing year-round storage for
equipment used by both the Southold Highway and Public Works Departments.
The vehicles stored in this facility and the Town employees using this
facility shall be covered by the Town of Southold's blanket insurance liability
policy.
It is agreed that the Southold Town Highway and Public Works

Southold.
This lease shall be an extension of a lease between Landlord and Tenant
due to expire on March 31, 2003, and shall continue on a month-to-month basis
at the rate of Five Hundred ($500.00) dollars per month, payable on the first (1st)
day of each month beginning April 1, 2003.. This lease may be terminated by
either party upon sixty (60) days written notice sent by certified mail,
receipt requested.

At the expiration of the terms of this agreement, the Tenant shall deliver
the premises in good order.
