By resolution of the Board it was determined that (a) Strict application of the Ordinance (would) (would not) produce hardship because SEE REVERSE practical difficulties or unnecessary (b) The hardship created (is) (is not) unique and (would) (would not) be shared by all properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this property and in the same use district because SEE REVERSE (c) The variance (does) (does not) observe the spirit of the Ordinance and (would) change the character of the district because SEE REVERSE (would not) and therefore, it was further determined that the requested variance ( ) be granted ( ) be denied and that the previous decisions of the Building Inspector ( ) be confirmed ( ) be reversed. The applicant'~ house is located at the extreme westerly end of his property as set off in 1938, long before a recent i~heritance which consider- ably enlarged the present ~rea. The Board is agreeable to grant- ing this variance subject to the conditions listed below. THEREFORE, IT WAS RESOLVED John Matrick, Middle Road, Cutchogue, New York, be GRANTED permission to construct addition, to existing dwelling with insufficient side yard area as applied for on property located at north side of Middle Road, Cutchogue, New York, subject to the following conditions: 1. the posts supporting the carport shall be no closer than 3 feet to the westerly line. 3 f~et. The sidewall on the wes, t side shall be no hi, gher than 3. At no time may this carport be enclosed. 4. The carport must be in line with the rear~ of the house.
