Following are the responses to the final inspection request comments. 1. The stairs have been rebuilt so that all risers are presently within a one eight inch tolerance in accordance with the New York State Building Code. 2. The handrail on the stairs has been redesigned as shown on the attached "Typical Handrail Detail". This handrail has been improved by the installation of a 2'/z inch diameter mahogany rail which provides improved grasping, in accordance with the New York State Building Code.
