After investigation and inspection the Board finds" that the
applicant requests permission to erect an on-premises 6 ft. x 6 ft.
double-faced projecting wall sign on land of Koko Bros. , south side
of Traveler Street, Southold, New York. The applicant wishes to
replace a triangular 3 ft. x 5 ft. projecting wall sign with a
square, double-faced, projecting wall sign with the dimensions of
6 ft. by 6 ft. The Board is in agreement with the reasoning of
the applicant.
The Board finds that the public convenience and welfare and
justice will be served and the legally established or permitted
use of neighborhood property and adjoining use districts will
not be permanently or substantially injured and the spirit of the
Ordinance will be observed.
THEREFORE IT WAS RESOLVED Service Sign Erectors, 120 East 131
Street, New York, New York a/c Volinski Oldsmobile, Traveler
Street, Southold, New York, be GRANTED permission to erect an on-
premises 6 ft. by 6 ft. double-faced projecting wall sign, subject
to the following conditions:
1. That applicant provide the same amount of clearance from
ground level to the lower edge of the sign as existed
prior to this application. '
2. That sign shall be subject to all rules and regulations
governing signs and to all subsequent changes in the
Southold Town Building Zone Ordinance as it applies to
signs.
