Location of property: land of Koko Bros. , south side of Traveler Street, Southold, New York, bounded north by Traveler Street, east by Youngs Avenue, south by Leicht-Tarp, west by Y. W. Prinew. Fee paid $5.00. 2. VARIANCE. By resolution of the Board it was determined that (a) Strict application of the Ordinance (would) (would not) produce practical difficulties or unnecessary hardship because SEE REVERSE (b) The hardship created (is) (is not) unique and (would) (would not) be shared by all properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this property and in the same use district because SEE REVERSE (c) The variance (does) (does not) observe the spirit of the Ordinance and (would) (would not) change the character of the district because SEE REVERSE and therefore, it was further determined that the requested variance ( ) be granted ( ) be denied and that the previous decisions of the Building Inspector ( ) be confirmed ( ) be reversed. Southold Town Board of Appeals " i 1 After investigation and inspection the Board finds" that the applicant requests permission to erect an on-premises 6 ft. x 6 ft. double-faced projecting wall sign on land of Koko Bros. , south side of Traveler Street, Southold, New York. The applicant wishes to replace a triangular 3 ft. x 5 ft. projecting wall sign with a square, double-faced, projecting wall sign with the dimensions of 6 ft. by 6 ft. The Board is in agreement with the reasoning of the applicant. The Board finds that the public convenience and welfare and justice will be served and the legally established or permitted use of neighborhood property and adjoining use districts will not be permanently or substantially injured and the spirit of the Ordinance will be observed. THEREFORE IT WAS RESOLVED Service Sign Erectors, 120 East 131 Street, New York, New York a/c Volinski Oldsmobile, Traveler Street, Southold, New York, be GRANTED permission to erect an on- premises 6 ft. by 6 ft. double-faced projecting wall sign, subject to the following conditions: 1. That applicant provide the same amount of clearance from ground level to the lower edge of the sign as existed prior to this application. ' 2. That sign shall be subject to all rules and regulations governing signs and to all subsequent changes in the Southold Town Building Zone Ordinance as it applies to signs.
