REASON FOR APPEAL .
Continued
.
.
1. STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce practical difficulties or unneces-
sary HARDSHIP becau. the bu1lding contains 9 rooms and has a 2 car garage
attaohed. The purohasers are a retired oouple and plan to spend muoh
time away from home. For this r~on they would like to make this into
a two-fil.lnlly dwelling without ohanging the outside struoture.
2. The hardship created is UNIQUE and is not shared by all properties alike in the immediate
vicinity of this property and in this use district because most o.f the dwellings in the
immediate vicinity are ranoh style homes, not adaptable to oonverting
intoJ'f two-family dwellings. 'fhis dw'!lling lias a two fam1ly home untll
purchCls"!d by the current owner about 10 years ago.

3. The Variance would observe the spirit of the Ordinance and WOULD NOT CHANGE THE
CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT becau. adjourning the property on the west is a pi
multi~le residence that is zoned M. About 200 feet south is a three
I family dwelling zoned M. and a business area. The building would not
be ohanged in outward appearance, so therefore, would not affect the
neighborhood.
