The wording used by the Town of Huntington on their subdivision
maps to prevent alteration of lot lines without authorization is
as follows:
No plot may be subdivided or changed in any
manner at any future date unless by special
action of the Planning Board of the Town of
Huntington.
This statement must also bear the signature of the subdivider and
owner and the date signed as an acknowledgement of this restriction.
The Town of Huntington initiated this procedure, if we are not mis-
taken, to prevent the creation of zoning violations unknowingly by
an owner selling or exchanging property.
