VARIANCE. Rackett. Letter of permission from the Property owner is contained in the file. This s~gn shall be a 4' x 6' free standing ground sign adjacent to the building. This sign shall read "Chappy's Restaurant, 2nd right." ~he Board finds that this is in line with the Board's policy for granting directional signs, and this 's'ign is in the interest of the travelling public. T~EREFORE, IT WAS RESOLVED David Eliazar, 1788 Roland Avenue, Wantagh, New York, be GRANTED permission to erect an off premises directional sign on property of Malcolm P. Rackett, corner of Main Street, and Champlin Place, Greenport, New York, as applied for, subject to the following conditions: 1. The sign shall be no larger than 4 feet by 6 feet, tag permit required. 2. The sign shall re~d "Cha~p~ > Restaurant, 2nd right." 3. The sign shall be located at least five ~eet from any property line. ,~ 4.~ ~he sign s~ll be located at least .three feet above ground level. 5. Please also be aware that your request to change the name of the restaurant on the sign was granted by the Board of Appeals at our meeting held last night.
