RESOLUTIONS Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. 209. Recognize the week of April 27-May 3, 2003 as "Municipal Clerks Week", and extend appreciation to our Municipal Clerk Elizabeth Neville and all Municipal Clerks. 210. Grant permission to Town Clerk Elizabeth Neville to attend the Annual New York State Town Clerks Association Conference April 26-30, 2003 in Buffalo. 211. Increase the wages of Stephan Burke of the Fishers Island Ferry District by 5%. 212. Authorize modification to the 2003 budget, General Fund Whole Town and Capital Fund to appropriate grant money for the 7-passenger van, Adult Day Care. 213. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2003 budget to reduce Park & Playground appropriations. 214. Appoint Richard H. McMahon of Southampton High School as a participant in the BOCES Police Internship Program. 215. Appoint Jennifer M. Lynch as summer intern in the Southold Town Justice Court. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute any and all necessary documents in connection with the contract with South Shore Docks, Inc. 218. Engage the ProfeSsional services of Lisa Kombrick to provide legal counsel to the Land Preservation Committee. 219. Determine that proposed "A Local law in Relation to Exemptions to Board of Trustees Temporary Moratorium" is a Type II Action and not subject to SEQRA review. 220. Authorize the acceptance of residential leaves and brush at the Southold Town Landfill, free of charge, April 19-May 18, 2003. 221. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to hire the firm of Nelson, Pope & Voorhis to conduct SEQRA Review for the proposed construction of a new Solid waste transfer station. 223. Change the Status of full-time Purser Kenneth Ricker from salaried to hourly, effective April 1, 2003. 224. Grant permission for the purchase of a coring machine for turf maintenance of sports fields. 225, Amend ResOlution No. 70 of Febrnary 4, 2003 to appoint Susele King as a part-time Home Health Aide on Fishers Island. 226. Appoint Ralph Gaudiuso and Gregory Pouletsos as Public Safety Dispatchers for the Police Department. 227. Designate Gene R. Serti as Electrical Inspector in the Town of Southold, and authorize and deputize him as agent of the Town of Southold. 228. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to hire the firm of Nelson, Pope & Voorhis to conduct a SEQRA Review to address the environmental issues pertinent to the Change of Zone application of Windham Resources, LLC. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to transmit the Change of Zone application in the matter of Windham Resources, LLC to the Southold Town Planning Board and Suffolk County Department of Planning for their recommendations and reports. Accept the Draft Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) and submit it to the New York State Secretary of State for review and distribution to the State and Federal agencies for their review. Accept the next highest bid from Joe Willsey, Michael Anthony LTD on the used vehicle VIN 194069. Accept the bid of Earth Care Co. for the removal, transportation and disposal of scavenger waste from the SCavenger Waste Plant at Greenport. Authorize Trustee President Albert Krupski to hire the firm of Nelson, Pope & Voorhis to conduct an evaluation to address the impact of sanitary discharges on wetlands systems, as it relates to a litigation matter. Set 8:10 p.m., April 22, 2003, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public hearing on "A Local Law in Relation to No Parking Area on Traveler Street". Retain Frank A. Isler, Esq. as special counsel in the matter of Cliff's Elbow East pending before the Zoning Board of Appeals. Engage the services of Tom Daniels, Prof. at SUNY Albany for one day of consulting to explore concepts of valuation methodologies and agricultural structures in connection with the Land Preservation Program. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for the part time position of Food Service Worker for Senior Services. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2003 budget for overtime earnings in the Town Attorney's office. Approve the purchase of the NOFO Associates, a/k/a McFeely, SCTM #1000-125-1-14. Approve amendments to the Community Development Block Grant 1996 Program Budget. Enact "A Local Law in Relation to Exemptions to Board of Trustees Temporary Moratorium".
