c. The work covered by this application may not be com'menced*before issuance of Building Permit.
d..Upon approval of this application,the Building Inspector.will'issue a Building Permit to-the applicant. Such a permit
shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the work.

While the Landmark Preservation Commission must deplore the loss of any old
house on the SPLIA list,there are times that it must recognize that so little of the
original house remains that to take any other course than accepting the demolition
of this building is fruitless.
With inappropriate remodeling over many years, about all that remains of the
original house are some structural beams.
We, therefore, accept the destruction of this building and would only hope that
future and present owners,when they remodel, would try to be true to the original
building.
