'All Board members s~gned a Waiver of Notice of Town Board Meeting. Present: Supervisor Francis J. Murphy Councilwoman Jean W. Cochran Coundiman George L. Penny IV Councilwoman Ruth D~ Oliva Councilwoman Ellen M. Larsen Town Clerk Judith T. Terry Town Accountant John A. Cushman !1 Moved by Supervisor Murphy, seconded by Councilwoman Larsen, it was RESOLVED that this Town Board does hereby prepare and approve as the Preliminary Budget of this Town for the fiscal year beginnin9 on the 1st day of January, 1988, the itemized statement of estimated revenus and expenditures hereto attached and made a part of this resolution; and be it further RESOLVEO that this Board shall meet at 3:00 o'clock P.M. on the 10th day of November, .1988 for the purpose of holdin9 a public hearin9 on said Preliminary Budget, and that after ~11 i~ersons attending said hearing shall have had an opportunity to be heard in favor of or against the Preliminary Budget as compiled, or for or against any item or items therein contained, that said hearing be then recessed and thereafter to be reconvened at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on said day for the same purposes; and be it further RESOLVEO that the Town Clerk shall give notice of such hearings in the manner provided in Section 11:3 of the Town Law and that such notice be published in substantially the following form: "LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING UPON PRELIMINARY BUDGET NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Preliminary Budget of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, for the fiscal year beginning January I, 1988, has been completed and filed in the Office of the Town Clerk at the Southold Town Hail, Main Road, Southold, New York, where it is available .for inspection and where copies may be obtained by any interested persons during business hours. FDRTHER NOTICE ,IS HEREBY GIVEN that 'the Town Board of the Town of Southold will meet and review said Preliminary Budget and hold a public hearing thereon at the Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York, in said Town, at 3:00 o'clock'P.M, and at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on the 10th day of November, 1988, and that at such hearing any person may be heard in favor of or against the Pre- liminary Budget as com:piled, or for or against any item or items .therein contained.
