In our last application for an addition a-condition,was imposed that no further additions would be grante~ unless the lot was enlarged~ (appeal #831 - Mar"24, 1966), we have purchased the adjoining lot on the easterly side of our property and propose to add 8ft on the front and square off She present building which will leave ample room for off street pa~g for our equipment~ employees and customers cars. 2. The ha~shio c~a~dis UNIQUE and is notsha~d by all pmpe~ies alike in the ,mmediate vicini~ ofthis proper~ and i~ this use di~rict because ~ ~his i~ an. active b~s±~ess in a residential area which was fouuded long prior to the zoning ordinance. This seafood business is one of the outlets for local baymen ~aking their living £rom Townwaters and is one of the few active markets for the local marine harvest'(fin fishs shellfish etc). The Variance would obsewe the spirit ofthe Ordinance and WOULD NOT CHANGE THE CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT becau~ : The business has been in exist&nee for many years, and is an asset to local baymen. The proposed addition will "square off" the present building and allow more room for required off street parking etc. and will in no way harm or change the neighborhood.
