There are six private wedding events that may meet the criteria of Chapter 205 for the following dates:June 11,June 25,July 9,July 23, August 6, and September 9. The application is complete, including the required Certificate of Insurance naming the Town of Southold as additional insured. Baiz, III Attachment: 2022 Spe ' Events Permit application ST F04 RECEIVE® ` = a MAR 2 8 2022 Southold Town Clerk TOWN OF SOUTHOLD Town Code Chapter 205 "Public Entertainment and Special Events" SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT INSTRUCTIONS AND APPLICATION FORM Applications for a Special Event Permit are subject to an inter-departmental coordinated review by the Southold Town Board,Town Attorney,Town Assessors,Land Preservation, Building, Planning, Zoning Board of Appeals and Police Departments, and the Suffolk County Planning Commission. Application fee: $150.00 per application. Up to six (6) multiple events of the same type, occurring over a period of three months, may be permitted on one(1) application for a fee of$150.00. However, specific details of each event must be included with this application. All applications must be submitted at least 60 business days before the event. Applicants are encouraged to submit applications as early as_possible. Any completed Ipplication that is not submitted 60 or more business days prior to the scheduled event may be rejected or subject to a late processing fee of$250.00 by the Office of the Town Clerk expedited review must be submitted in writing to the Town unless a waiver is obtained. Property size:22.2 acres,abutting Main Road &,Bay Home Road. (See Exhibit 1). 2. Only structures in operation during course of the event are a party tent, cook's tent,, and bathroom trailer. Primary residence and other fixed structures are closed. 3. Party tent, cook's tent, and bathroom trailer, as noted on aerial schematic, Exhibit 2, attached. 4. The front lawn, beach,and parking areas,as shown on aerial schematic, Exhibit 2. 5. Tent exits are clearly designated, as per tent vendor's permit with Town. 6. Fire extinguishers are mounted in Party tent and cook's tent per tent vendor's permit. 7. Bathroom trailer located at the head of the parking area.See Exhibit 2. 8. Per Exhibit 2,the parking area is to either side of the private road with autos facing into the vineyard rows. Private road area available for parking is 625 feet long by 80+ feet wide providing space for more than 120 vehicles(60 per side). 9. Vehicles enter the property from Bay Home Road (one-way traffic flow). Passengers are disembarked at the ARCHES. At that point, if the bridal party chooses, a valet service moves the vehicles to the parking area along the private road. At the conclusion of the event, all vehicles are directed down the private road, some 1400 feet,to exit onto the Main Road,_Route 25. 10. Music, live or D1, is specified in the Contract between the Vineyard and the bridal party.Music for the ceremony at 4PM may be instrumental (violin, piano,guitar,etc.) with speaker amplification to be directed out over the water away from land. Likewise, by contract, music under the tent requires the musicians'or DJ's stage to be at the vineyard side of the tent with speakers facing out over the water. By contrast, the Town's Noise Ordinance notwithstanding, all music amplification must be turned down at 10PM and turned off by 10:30PM. Any exception is at the sole discretion of the senior representative of The Old Field Vineyards, and must comply with Town Code. 11. Emergency access is via entry point at 1260 Bay Home Road. Entry is suitable for ambulance to fire truck.Nearest fire hydrant is adjacent to property at bay end of Bay Home Road. 12.The caterer to the event is responsible, by contract,for all refuse,trash, and garbage removal. 13.Tent lighting is provided by the tent vendor under contract with the bridal party.The Old Field provides electrical service as needed.Other grounds' lighting is permanently installed. 14.The bathroom trailer is located at the head of the parking area.
