Non-resident full season pass $200.00

RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District hereby approve the

Non-profit clubs. $7.5.00/team
Non-resident fee $20.0.0
WHEREAS League practice and training will be 2:00PM,to closing.Monday,through.Fdday.
Saturday and some Sundays are reserved for games.
WHEREAS.Mattituck Park:District,will provide portable lights at no additional cost,however,
leagues must supply the`fuel.
WHEREAS,Mattituck:Park,District will have the bathroom facilities open during practice and
games.

RESOLVED.that the Board of.Commissioners of.the Mattituck,'Park District hereby permits the
Audubon Society to demarcate the piping.plover nesting areas,at Baillie:Beach and Breakwater
Beach for the 2022 nesting season.

WHEREAS the Mattituck Park District and the.;Scouts now wish to formalize this usage,
RESOLVED that the Board of.Commissioners of theMattituck..Park District hereby approves the
entry into license.agreement between local scout organl2atiOns,.and,.Mattituck,Park District for
use of the Scout Lodge at'Bailie Beach in�Mattituck in the amount,of$1oQ:00 per year per
organization beginning�February 2022.This.resolution supersedes Resolution 2021-22.

WHEREAS the Mattituck Park District and the.MYC.wish to formalize this.usage,
RESOLVED that the Board of.Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District,hereby approves the
entry into license agreement;between the�MattituckYacht Glub and:Mattituck:Park.Districtfor
use of the,said portion of.Mattituck Park Dstriot property_in the amount of$100.00 per,year
beginning February 2022.

CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order 6:29 PM.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion by C Gueli, seconded by K Byrne, all in favor and motion carried unanimously to
approve the Minutes from the January 13, 2022 submitted via email.
TREASURER'S REPORT(C Shashkin)

Motion by Gueli, seconded by K Byrne, all in favor and motion carried unanimously to accept
and approve the Treasurer's Report.
Aldrich Lane
• 3 bids are needed to move the fence for easier access to the restroom facilities
• After discussion the Commissioners agreed the gates are not necessary and can be
removed
A handicap access ramp for the bathroom and a combination lock for the door were
discussed
• It was decided that T Pumillo can leave the restroom door open for the soccer clubs
Facility Use fees
• The Commissioners discussed the fees for each facility
• N Deegan expressed concern that the fee for the picnic area between smaller groups
and the next level is too much of a difference (no charge to$225.00)the Commissioners
agreed and adjusted accordingly
• N Deegan expressed concern that the beach fee hike is too high for one year, the
Commissioners agreed and adjusted accordingly.
• K Byrne suggested amending the contract to state the host is responsible when serving
alcohol.
• The Commssioners agreed but will discuss with Counsel before making a final decision.

RESOLUTION SETTING MEETING DATES FOR MARCH 2022
RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District hereby set the

RESOLUTION SETTING FACILITY USE FEES FOR 2022
RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District hereby approve the
following fee schedule for Bailie Beach Lodge and Veteran's Park area's for 2022: SEE

unanimously to approve Resolution 2022-15.
RESOLUTION 2022-16
RESOLUTION SETTING BEACH PARKING FEES FOR 2022
RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District hereby approve the
following fee schedule, fees to be paid by credit or debit card, for beach parking at Mattituck
Park District parks for 2022:
Residents of Mattiuck Park District $25.00/year
Non-resident full season pass $200.00
Non-resident day pass $35.00
Mattituck Motel, Strongs Marina & B&B's $100.00 for the season

unanimously to approve Resolution 2022-16.
RESOLUTION 2022-17
RESOLUTION SETTING RATES AND FIELD USE POLICY
FOR ALDRICH LANE FOR 2022
RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District hereby approve the
following rates and field use policy for Aldrich Lane for 2022:
Non-profit clubs $125.00/team
WHEREAS League practice and training will be 2:OOPM to closing Monday through Friday.
Saturday and some Sundays are reserved for games.
WHEREAS Mattituck Park District will provide portable lights at no additional cost however,
leagues must supply the fuel.
WHEREAS Mattituck Park District will have the bathroom facilities open during practice and
games.
RESULT: Motion by C Gueli seconded by K Byrne, all in favor and motion carried
unanimously to approve Resolution 2022-17.
RESOLUTION 2022-18
RESOLUTION PERMITTING THE AUDUBON SOCIETY TO
DEMARCATE THE PIPING PLOVER NESTING SITES
RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District hereby permits the
Audubon Society to demarcate the piping plover nesting areas at Baillie Beach and Breakwater
Beach for the 2022 nesting season.
RESULT: Motion by C Gueli seconded by N Deegan, all in favor and motion carried
unanimously to approve Resolution 2022-18.
RESOLUTION 2022-19
RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH
RESIDENT SCOUT ORGANIZATIONS
WHEREAS, the Mattituck Cub Scouts Pack 39 and Boy Scouts Troop 39 have historically used
the Bailie Beach Scout Lodge without an agreement,
WHEREAS the Mattituck Park District and the Scouts now wish to formalize this usage,
RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District hereby approves the
entry into license agreement between local scout organizations and Mattituck Park District for
use of the Scout Lodge at Bailie Beach in Mattituck in the amount of$100.00 per year per
organization beginning February 2022. This resolution supersedes Resolution 2021-22.
RESULT: Motion by C Gueli seconded by K Byrne, all in favor and motion carried
unanimously to approve Resolution 2022-19.
RESOLUTION 2022-20
RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO LICENSE AGREEMENT
WITH THE MATTITUCK YACHT CLUB
WHEREAS,the Mattituck Yacht Club owns and occupies a property adjoining the MPD's
Peconic Bay Park, has an existing deeded right-of-way to access their premises through MPD
property, and wishes to use a portion of MPD property for sailboat storage,
WHEREAS the Mattituck Park District and the MYC wish to formalize this usage,
RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District hereby approves the
entry into license agreement between the Mattituck Yacht Club and Mattituck Park District for
use of the said portion of Mattituck Park District property in the amount of$100.00 per year
beginning February 2022.
RESULT: Motion by C Gueli seconded by K Byrne, all in favor and motion carried
unanimously to approve Resolution 2022-20.
RESOLUTION 2022-21
RESOLUTION TO HIRE LYLE GIRANDOLA AS
MATTITUCK PARK DISTRICT TREASURER
RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District hereby approves the
hiring of Lyle Girandola for the position of Treasurer at an annual salary of$6000.00 effective
February 17, 2022.
RESULT: Motion by C Gueli seconded by N Deegan, all in favor and motion carried
unanimously to approve Resolution 2022-21.
Public Comment
• Marco DaFonte suggested that the soccer club fees be simplified and remove the non-
resident charge as it is too confusing to collect and figure out who lives where.
• The Commissioners agreed and removed the fee and will charge one fee to include all
players.
• M DaFonte discussed the light usage and would like to work out an agreement.
• The soccer club only needs the lights in the fall and the portable lights do not light the
area efficiently
• The Commissioners will keep the light usage fee at$50/hour and continue to review the
PSEG statement with the intent of finding a long term solution
• MPD and M DaFonte will meet in May to discuss further
• D Geis asked if there is still a tent fee, C Shashkin and.K Byrne are working on a policy
currently
• D Geis would like MPD to consider a lower rate for room rental for Non-profit groups
