HomeMy WebLinkAboutCAC-09/25/1979 A regular meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council was held on Tuesday, September 25, 1979 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town. Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York. Present were: Chairman Frank A. Kujawski, Jr. John B. Tuthill William Ruland Margaret Conway Frank Cichanowicz Robert Hood John Plock The referral from the Southold Town Board if wetland application no. 39 submitted by the Goose Bay Civic Association, Inc. was reviewed by the Council. On motion made by Mr. Tuthill, seconded by Mrs. Conway, it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board approval of application no. 39 for a wetland permit submitted by the Goose Bay Civic Association, Inc It was recommended that the dredging be extended to include the front of the Lawson property as per the application to the Department of Environmental Conservation. Vote of -the Board: Ayes: Kujawski, Tuthill, Ruland, Conway, Cichanowicz, Hood, Plock It will be suggested to the Association that they apply to the Department of Environmental Conservation for a ten-year maintenance permit. Mr. and Mrs. Schwerdt attended the meeting to represent the Association. Mr. Tuthill requested that the secretary write again to the Department of Environmental Conservation regarding the granting of permits for burning. There being no further business to come before the Council, Mr. Plock made a motion, seconded by Mr. Hood and carried to adjourn the meeting.
