Council was held at 7:30 p.m. , Tuesday, August 26, 1980 at the Town
Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York.

On motion made by Mr. Plock, seconded by Mr. Hood, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board approval
of the application for wetlands permit of William Pollertc
subject to the width of the catwalk being decreased to three feet.

A letter was received by Chairman Cichanowicz from Edward F.
Hindermann, Building and Housing Inspector. Mr. Hindermann is
looking for clarification of the. definition of "wetlands" . Mr.
Cichanowicz named Mr. Tuthill and Mr. Hood as a committee to meet
with Mr. Hindermann to -discuss the matter..
A nine page questionnaire was received by the Conservation Advisory
Council regarding a study of Environmental Advisory Commissions/
Councils in New York State which is being undertaken by the State
University of New York at Binghamton. The Council reviewed the
questionnaire .and .as a group answered the questions.
The following is the proposed budget for the year 1981:
Salary for seven members to include inspections
and meetings $3,360.00
Secretarial services 300.00
Supplies 100.00
Seminars & Educational meetings 800.00
