Council. was held at 7: 30 p.m. ; Tuesday, September �23, 1980 at the
Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York. . c -
Present were:
Frank Cichanowicz III, Chairman
John Plock, Sr.
William Ruland
John Tuthill c
Margaret Conway
Absent were:
Robert Hood
Rachel Duell
On motion made by Mr. Tuthill, seconded by Mr. Plock, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board approval of
application as submitted to Henry Pierce to install walkway, ramp
and floats off private property of the applicant at Richmond Creek.
Vote of the Council: Ayes: Cichanowicz, Plock, Ruland, .
Tuthill, Conway
On motion made by Mr. Plock, seconded by Mrs. Conway, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board approval of
application of Joseph & Janet Gold to construct a timber dock,
fixed catwalk, hinged ramp and float at private property of the
applicant at Haywaters Cove with the recommendation that the
height of the catwalk not be less than three feet.
Vote of the Council: Ayes: Cichanowicz, Plock, Ruland,
Tuthill, Conway
Inspections of these properties took place on September 19th.
. In regard to lead agency for the State Environmental -Quality Review
Act for the reconstruction of three bridges on New Suffolk Avenue,
the Council feels that the town should pursue lead agency status.
Although the County says no permits are required from the town, the
fact is a wetlands permit and trustees permit are required. Mr.
Cichanowicz will pursue the matter.
There being no further business to come before the meeting,
Mr. Plock made a motion, seconded by Mr. Ruland and carried to
adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
