A regular meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory
Council was held at 7: 30 p.m. on Tuesday, J 24, 1984 at Southold
Town Hall, Main Road, Southold. avLY

Absent: Betty Wells
On motion made by John Tuthill, seconded by Rachel Duell
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board approval of
the wetland application #206, submitted by Harbor Lights Property
Association to maintenance dredge. Application approved provided
all spoil is placed to the east of the beach, and then removed so _
it does not wash back into the wetlands.
Vote of Council: Ayes: All
The Southold Town Conservation Advisory Board has tabled the
application of Richard J. Cantwell #207, Orient. He will be invited
to attend the August meeting.
On motion made by Robert Hood, seconded by John Tuthill
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board approval
of the wetland application #208, submitted by En-Consultants, Inc.
on behalf of Ludwig Becker to construct a timber dock, catwalk,
hinged ramp, float, and.' pilings. Jockey Creek. Southold. Conditional
approval providing any spartina:' grass:'.destroyed dur'ing' dredging be
replaced.
Vote of Council: Ayes: All
On motion made by Rachel Duell, seconded by Martin Garrell
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board approval
of the wetland application #209 submitted by the Land Use Company
on behalf of John DiCarlo to reconstruct timber bulkhead and
return within 18" of the existing structure.
Vote of Council: Ayes: All
On motion made by Martin Garrell, seconded by William Ruland
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board approval
of the wetland application #210 submitted by Costello Marine Contract-
ing Corporation on behalf of Janet Maddams to remove old deteriorated
bulkhead and construct approximately 120 ' of new bulkhead. Jockey
Creek, Southold.
Vote of Council: Ayes: All
On motion made by Rachel Duell, seconded by John Tuthill
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board approval of
the wetland application #211 submitted by Leon Marcus to install
dock leading to a ramp and two floats. Gull Pond, Greenport.
Vote of Council: Ayes: All
The Conservation Advisory Council has tabled the application
#212 submitted by Thomas E. Samuels. Have requested that Mr. Samuels
submit a planting plan for restoring wetlands, before his application
is approved.
The Conservation Advisory Council recommends to the Town Board
that the application #213 submitted by Edward Jablonski to bulkhead
a -portion (701) of a lot along Pettys Pond "provided the bulkhead is
placed five feet behind the existing proposed site.
On motion made by Martin Garrell, seconded by Robert Hood
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board approval of
the wetland application #214 submitted by Charles J. Galligan to
install a fixed dock leading to a ramp and float. Mattituck.
Vote of Council: Ayes: All
On motion made by Martin Garrell, seconded by William Ruland
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board approval of
the wetland application #215 submitted by Heagan Bayles to construct
timber groins. Nassau Point, Cutchogue.
Vote of Council: Ayes: All
On motion made by John Tuthill, seconded by Rachel' Duell
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board approval of
the wetland application #216 submitted by George Sweeny to mainte-
nance dredge. Broadwater Cove, Cutchogue.
Vote of Council: Ayes: All
