Box 1179 (516) 765-1801 Southold, New York 11971 Cpl � ���� SOUTHOLD TOWN CONSERVATION ADVISORY COUNCIL OCTOBER 10 . 1989 The Southold Town Conservation Advisory held its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 10, 1989 , at the Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York. The meeting i.aas called to order at 4 : 00 P.M. by Chairman John Holzapfel. Present were: John Holzapfel, Chairman John tuthill, Member Bruce Loucka, Member Stephen Angell, Member Dan Kujawski, Member Margaret Feeney, Member Linda Cooper, Secretary Absent was : Betty Wells, Member CHAIRMAN'S ANNOUNCEMENTS November 3 , 1989 the Suffolk County Cooperative Extension will be holding a seminar concerning septic treatment systems. October 17 , 1989 there will be a aquifer protection seminar in New York City, 8: 30 A.M. to 4 : 00 P.M. Chairman Holzapfel read the letter to the Trustees regarding suggestions from the CAC listing issues the Council would like . the Trustees make mandatory on every application and including a request for those doing work without a permit be severly penalized... DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATION OF APPLICATIONS No Wetland Applications were recieved for this month. WAIVER REQUESTS W-4 10/10/89 Page 2 W-4 On a motion by John Hozlapfel, seconded by Margaret Feeney, . it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees APPROVAL WITH SUGGESTIONS of Waiver request of Alan Cardinale regarding building lot setbacks . The CAC suggests the cesspools be move away from the marsh; the swimming pool backwash into drywells ; no disturbance of wetlands within 75 ' ; and gutters and drainpipes be installed. Council advises the applicant that a DEC permit may be required. R.O.W. off Main Road, Mattituck. Vote of Council: Ayes : All Motion carried. W-5 Environment East for Richard Anderson for an accessory building. The Council' s Chairman John Holzapfel it advise the Trustees of the recommendation at the Trustees ' next meeting. 4298 Wunneweta Road, Cutchogue. W-6 On a motion by Daniel Kujawski, seconded by Stephen Angell, it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees APPROVAL WITH SUGGESTIONS regarding the Waiver Request of Valerie Cramer for site approval for a single family dwelling. The Council suggests applicant control runoff during construction; install gutters and drainpipes; and drywell system to control runoff. East Side of Robinson Road, Greenport . Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried. W-7 On a motion by John Holzapfel, seconded by John Tuthill, it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees APPROVAL WITH SUGGESTIONS of Waiver Request of Edson and Bruer for Michael and Judi Fouchet . The CAC suggests runoff be controlled with haybales or filter cloth during construction. Seawood Drive, Southold. Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried. 10/10/89 Page 3 „o v W-8 Waiver Request of Russell Ireland was not inspected prior to the meeting. An inspection : will be made and Chairman Holzapfel will advise the Trustees of the CAC ' s recommendation at the next Trustees ' meeting. W-9 Waiver Request of John Gutleber was not inspected prior to the meeting. An inspec;tion will be made and Chairman Holzapfel will advise the Trustees of the CAC ' s recommendation at the next Trustees ' meeting. SET NEXT MEETING AND INSPECTION DATE The next meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council is scheduled for Thursday, November 10, 1989 at 4 : 00 P.M. at the Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York. Group inspections are scheduled for Thursday, November 10, 1990 . Members will meet at 3 : 00 P.M. at the Southold Town Hall, in the main lobby.
