SOUTHOLD TOWN
CONSERVATION ADVISORY COUNCIL
JUNE 17, 1993
A meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council was
held Thursday, June 17, 1993 at 4:00 P.M. in the Conference Room
at Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York.
Present were: John Holzapfel, Chairman
Bruce Loucka, Member
Stephen Angell, Member
Betty Wells, Member
John Hagerty, Member
Pat Isaksen, Member
Linda Cooper, Secretary
Absent was: Robert Keith, Member
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Holzapfet.
DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATION OF WETLAND APPLICATIONS
Moved by Bruce Loucka, seconded by John Holzapfel, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees
APPROVAL WITH PROVISIONS of Wetland Application of SUZANNE
SWICK 23-1-6 to build a- single family dwelling. The Council
recommends approval of the building envelope provided the house is
no closer than 75' of the bank and that the septic system is no
closer than 100' of the bank.

Vote of Council: Ayes: All
Motion carried.
GENERAL BUSINESS
June 17, 1993
Member Stephen Angell suggested the Council look into projects in
which the Council could become involved. Chairman John Holzapfel
asked members to talk with others and get feedback on what
environmental issues should be addressed.
Member Bruce Loucka suggested a project as in East Hampton that
involves diking ditches to clean up the water. He will get more
information and have it sent to the members before the July meeting.
Member Stephen Angell volunteered to continue working on a policy
for structures along the Sound.
Members discussed the walk they took along the Sound in April and
some of the opinions they formed as a result of what they observed.
SET NEXT MEETING AND INSPECTION DATE
The next meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory
Council was set for Thursday, July 22, 1993 at 4:00 P.M. in the
Conference Room at Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold.
Group inspections would begin at 3:00 P.M. on the same date.
Members will meet in the lobby of the Town Hall.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting was adjourned.
