REPORTS
CAC member Kenneth Meskill reported that he has been busy doing water
sampling. He stated that Brauns has been very helpful and generous in
suppling ice for the sampling project and Kenneth feels a thank you letter
would be appropriate. There was a discussion as to whether the letter should
be from the CAC or the Trustees, some members feeling that the Trustees, as
an elected body, would be more appropriate. This matter will be discussed
with the Trustees.
CAC member Mary Griffin advised members that Stony Brook would be hosting.
a monthly open house. . The topic of discussion for February 27, would
concern glacier formations on Long Island. All are welcome to attend.
