Unfortunately where the proposed deck and pool are being proposed are within that 100' area and will need to be moved to an area beyond 100'from the edge of wetlands. Regarding the Earl application, the existing deck attached to the house was never permitted by this office because it was built prior ' to the requirement of needing a permit due to its location. As you are proposing to add more decking to the existing decking the permit needs to include the total square footage of existing and proposed. The existing on the site plan includes patio dimensions so I cannot use that total sq.ft. l Can you please tell me what the size of the existing deck is ASAP? 1 Thank you. s i j3 t 3 Senior Office Assistant i 3 Town of Southold Board of Trustees Office: 631-765-1892 3 Email: elizabethc@southoldtownny.gov 2 From: Cantrell, Elizabeth Sent: Friday, February 4, 2022 9:11 AM To: 'Brooke Epperson' <bepperson cwt amparchitect.com>; Anthony Portillo <aportillogamparchitect.com>; Doug Scharadin (dscharadingamparchitect.com) <dscharadin@amparchitect.com> Subject: William & Catherine Earl; SCTM# 1000-78-7-5.5 i Good Morning, i Regarding the application mentioned above you are probably not aware that there is an established 50' wide Non-Disturbance Buffer area along the landward edge of the wetlands on this property. It was established when the property was subdivided in 2006, attached is the finalized site plan for your reference. Please update your site plan and the survey to include the 50' Non-Disturbance Buffer area that matches the attached site plan. This information will be required for the Board's Work Session which is scheduled for Monday, February 14, 2022 in order for the Board to make a possible determination at the Public Hearings on the 16tH i We will only need two updated surveys and two updated site plans at this juncture. i Also as an FYI the required covenants &restrictions to the deed were already completed back in 2006 so that will not be a requirement under this application, unless this Board requires more buffers are added to what currently exists. i If you have any questions regarding this, please do not hesitate to ask. 1 3 'Lc itzeP$ Senior Office Assistant i Town of Southold } Board of Trustees Office: 631-765-1892 Email: elizabethc@southoldtownn .gov 3 aJ Doug Scharadin AMP Architecture,PLLC Project Assistant Office: 516-214-0160 www.amparchitect.com 4 Young & Young 400 Ostrander Av.nue, Riverhead• New York 11901 631-727-2303 N APPROVED BY R.ward W. r una,Land E.—.N.r Th_C.
