Why is building not just handling the matter?  Why is a sire plan required for agricultural buildings?  Tom will contact the owner(s) to discuss the process they have gone through and why they were asked to go planning. Tom will also contact the planning department with the same questions. Review of Planning Board Referral Murtha Ag Farm:  The planning department link for the site plan (SCTM#1000-56-1-11.15) is: http://24.38.28.228:2040/weblink/0/doc/1035715/Page1.aspx  The plans are for an Ag storage building for a cattle operation on a 20.6 Acre farm with the development rights held by Suffolk County. Page 1 | 2 Town of Southold Agricultural Advisory Committee Meeting th Minutes of July 7, 2021  A discussion was had on the plans and the committee again is questioning why this went to planning. The property development rights are held by the County and the county approved the structure. A barn should not need to involve planning, no site plan review should be needed either.  Tom will send a letter on behalf of the committee showing support for the project to planning. Tom will also try and contact the owners to get a better understanding of the process they have gone through.  There was a disapproval of these plans back on 01/19/18 by the planning department. The code supporting the disapproval 280-127 needs to be looked into because it excludes everything but agriculture.  The committee would like to look into the following codes a little further to understand the process that is needed such as 280-130, 280-99, and 280-100. Also, to find out what the time limit is in an expedited site plan application is. New Business:  Email Lauren in the Supervisors office to set up a second meeting with LPC.
