RESOLUTION 2021-89
RESOLUTION SETTING MEETING DATES FOR DECEMBER 2021
RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District hereby set the
following meeting dates for the month of January: Work Session, Thursday, January 6, 2022 at
6:30 P.M., monthly meeting, Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 6:30 P.M. and Special Work
Session, Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 6:30 PM
RESULT: Motion by, seconded by , all in favor and motion carried unanimously to approve
Resolution 2021-89.
RESOLUTION 2021-90
RESOLUTION APPROVING BILL REGISTER AND AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT OF CURRENT BILLS
RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District hereby approve the
Bill Register submitted by the Treasurer for the December 9, 2021 meeting and further
authorizes payment of the current bills.
RESULT: Motion by, seconded by , all in favor and motion carried unanimously to approve
Resolution 2021-90.
RESOLUTION 2021-91
RESOLUTION APPOINTING CHRIS SHASHKIN AS
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District hereby appoints
Chris Shashkin as the Park District Administrative Assistant at an annual salary of$55,000.00 to
include 2 weeks paid vacation per year effective January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022.
RESULT: Motion by, seconded by , all in favor and motion carried unanimously to approve
Resolution 2021-91.
RESOLUTION 2021-92
RESOLUTION APPOINTING THOMAS KRUMHOLZ AS
MATTITUCK PARK DISTRICT TREASURER
RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District hereby appoints
Thomas Krumholz as the Park District Treasurer at an annual salary of$7,500.00 effective
January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022.
RESULT: Motion by, seconded by , all in favor and motion carried unanimously to approve
Resolution 2021-92.

Denise Geis, Jim Underwood and Kevin Byrne were present from the public.
CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order 6:30 PM
PUBLIC COMMENT
• K Byrne questioned where the other income of$248,000.00 comes from that was noted
on the Southold Town website.
• N Deegan explained that it is a combination of anticipated revenues from rentals, permit
sales and donations and the appropriated fund balance.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion by G Lomaga, seconded by N Deegan, all in favor and motion carried unanimously to
approve the Minutes from the November 18, 2021 submitted via email.
TREASURER'S REPORT(presented by C Shashkin in A Noncarrow's absence)
Presented/Discussed:
Bill Payment Register dated December 9, 2021
Budget Ledger dated November 30, 2021
Balance sheet dated December 9, 2021
Motion by G Lomaga, seconded by C Gueli, all in favor and motion carried unanimously to
accept and approve the Treasurer's Report.
• C Gueli commented that the ledger was confusing, C Shashkin explained that the codes
used are required by NY state.
• C Gueli asked C Shashkin to prepare a report of costs for last year to be available for
reference for the January 20, 2022 special meeting.

RESOLUTION 2021-89
RESOLUTION SETTING MEETING DATES FOR JANUARY 2022
RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District hereby set the
following meeting dates for the month of January: Work Session, Thursday, January 6, 2022 at
6:30 P.M., monthly meeting, Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 6:30 P.M. and Special Work
Session, Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 6:30 PM
RESULT: Motion by,C Gueli seconded by N Deegan, all in favor and motion carried
unanimously to approve Resolution 2021-89.
RESOLUTION 2021-90
RESOLUTION APPROVING BILL REGISTER AND AUTHORIZING

RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District hereby approve the
Bill Register submitted by the Treasurer for the December 9, 2021 meeting and further
authorizes payment of the current bills.
RESULT: Motion by N Deegan seconded by C Gueli, all in favor and motion carried
unanimously to approve Resolution 2021-90.
RESOLUTION 2021-91
RESOLUTION APPOINTING CHRIS SHASHKIN AS
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District hereby appoints.
Chris Shashkin as the Park District Administrative Assistant at an annual salary of$55,090.00
$47,000.00, to be paid every 2 weeks, with up to an $8000.00 performance bonus to be
evaluated and reviewed quarterly, also to include 2 weeks paid vacation per year effective
January 1, 2022.
RESULT: Motion by Lomaga seconded by C Gueli, all in favor and motion carried
unanimously to approve Resolution 2021-91.
RESOLUTION 2021-92
RESOLUTION APPOINTING THOMAS KRUMHOLZ AS
MATTITUCK PARK DISTRICT TREASURER
RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District hereby appoints
Thomas Krumholz as the Park District Treasurer at an annual compensation of$7,500.04
effective January 1, 2022.
RESULT: Motion by G Lomaga seconded by C Gueli, all in favor and motion carried
unanimously to approve Resolution 2021-92.
Public.Comment
• D Geis asked what qualifications the new treasurer has and were there any other
applicants
• C Gueli explained he is a retired CPA and he and C Shashkin were the only applicants
• D Geis asked why the election results were not posted in the Suffolk Times.
• The results were announced on WLNG
• D Geis asked what the special meeting is for and can the public ask questions
• C Gueli and S Kiely answered: yes the public can attend and it is a work session where
the public is not permitted to speak.
• K Byrne suggested to allow the public to comment at this meeting as it is pertaining to
the 2023 budget and perhaps the public should be involved
• S Kiely recommended that the public send emails or letters with their comments for a
work session so that the meetings can run smoothly and the Commissioners can
complete what needs to be discussed/done at a particular work session. The public can
speak at a regular meeting on any of the regular agenda items.
• G Lomaga reminded the Commissioners that it was agreed upon to have a Town Hall
meeting at some point in the near future. He also suggested MPD create a yearly
calendar so that the public is aware of upcoming events.
• J Underwood asked if the budget passed and what was the increase
• N Deegan said yes: 72-71 vote and 11%was the increase

Motion by C Gueli. seconded by G Lomaga, all in favor and motion carried unanimously to
accept and approve the Treasurer's Report.
The Commissioners and incoming Commissioner K Byrne questioned A Noncarrow about
various line items on her report for a better understanding of the numbers.
RESOLUTION 2021-93
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING RESIGNATION OF ANGELA NONCARROW AS
MATTITUCK PARK DISTRICT TREASURER
RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District hereby accepts the
resignation of Angela Noncarrow as Mattituck Park District Treasurer effective December 31,
2021.
RESULT: Motion by Gueli, seconded by N Deegan, all in favor and motion carried
unanimously to approve Resolution 2021-93.
RESOLUTION 2021-94
RESOLUTION APPOINTING CHRIS SHASHKIN AS
INTERIM MATTITUCK PARK DISTRICT TREASURER
RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District hereby appoints
Chris Shashkin as interim Mattituck Park District Treasurer effective January 1, 2022.
RESULT: Motion by C Gueli, seconded by G Lomaga, all in favor and motion carried
unanimously to approve Resolution 2021-94.

I also met with,Commissioner Quell,Chairmin' 46 surrender allinformation,passwords,keys,,
and any items of value immediately prior to the Special Meeting on,December 30,20i'1':1 Official
