Absent: Shannon Wright, Member
Caroline Burghardt, Member
CALL TO ORDER
John Stein called the meeting to order at 4:35PM.
Chairperson John Stein welcomed Brian Mealy, Town Board Liaison and Liz Gillooly,
Trustee Liaison, to the CAC. As the new liaisons, Brian and Liz shared their willingness
and support in assisting the CAC with their goals in improving and expanding their mission
as a council, and the importance of the current mission statement and coordination with
the other town departments and agencies. One of the priorities of the CAC is to address
the limitations of the Town's wetland code. Currently, buffers are discretionary and the
CAC cannot support anything that doesn't fit within the code. It was suggested that the
code committee meetings be restructured to include input from the CAC.
