Southold Town Board of Appeals
April 16, 1976
A special meeting of the Southold Town Board of
Appeals was held at 12:00 o'clock Noon, Friday, April
16, 1976, at the Town Office, Main Road, Southold,
New York.
There were present: Messrs: Robert W. Gillispie, Jr.,
Chairman; Charles Grigonis, Jr.; Fred Hulse, Jr.
Absent: Mr. Robert Bergen and Mr. Serge Doyen, Jr.
On motion by Mr. Grigonis, seconded by Mr. Gillispie,
it was
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Board of Appeals set
8:25 P.M. (E.D.S.T.), Thursday, April 29, 1976 at the
Town Office, ~ain Road, Southold, New York'as the time
and place of hearing Upon application of Joseph and Anne
Poloshock, Third Street, New Suffolk, New York for a
variance in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance, Article
III, Section 100-30 ABC, 100-31 and 100-32 & Bulk Schedule
for permission to use vacant lot for parking. Location of
property: N/S Jackson Street and W/S 2nd Street, New Suffolk,
New York, bounded on the north by J. Bowman, M. Vangi,
H. Victoria; east by H. Murray; south by Jackson Street;
west by 2nd Street.
Vote of the Board: Ayes:- Messrs: Gillisple, Grigonis,
Hulse.

On motion by Mr. Gillispie, seconded by Mr. Hulse, it. was
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Board of Appeals set
8:35 P.M. (E.D.S.T.), Thursdayr April 29, 1976, at the Town
Office, Main Road, Southold, New York, as the time and place
of hearing upon application of John & Mary Targonski, 190
Hobart Road, Southold, New York for a variance in accordance
with the Zoning Ordinance, Article III, Section 100-30 and
Bulk Schedule for permission to construct addition which
will result in rear yard with insufficient depth. Location
of property: Hobart Road, Southold, New York, bounded on the
north by Lehman; east by Hobart Road; south by Heppa; west
by Edson, Warnaka.
Vote of the Board: Ayes:- Messrs: Gillispie, Grigonis,
Hulse.
On motion by Mr. Hulse, seconded by Mr. Grigonis, it was
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Board of Appeals set
8:45 P.M. (E.D.S.T.), Thursday, April 29, 1976 at the Town
Office, Main Road, Southold, New York as the time and place
of hearing upon application of Alice G. Donenfeld & Ors,
Main Road, Orient, New York for a variance in accordance
with the Zoning Ordinance, Article III, Section 100-30 A.B.C.
for permission to use existing barn for the making and storing
of lobster pots and gear in residential-agricultural zoned
farm building. Location of property: North side Main Road,
Orient, New York, bounded on the north by Lands End Realty;
east by Lands End Realty; south by Main Road (Rte 25); west
by Woodhollow Properties.
Vote of the Board: Ayes:- Messrs: Gillispie, Grigonis,
Hulse.
On motion by Mr. Hulse, seconded by ,r. Gillispie, it was
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Board of Appeals set
8:55 P.M. (E.D.S.T.), Thursday, April 29, 1976 at the Town
Office, Main Road, Southold, New York as the time and place
of hearing upon application of A. Reilly & Sons, Inc.,
Shore Acres, Mattituck, New York for a variance in accordance
with the Zoning Ordinance, Article III, Section 100-30 & Bulk
Schedule & Section 280A Town Law, for permission to divide
property and set off lot (with existing building) with in-
sufficient area. Location of property: Righty-of-way off
Cedar Drive, Mattituck, bounded on the north by Mattituck
Development Co., Inc. Sub.; east by same; south by N. Reilly;
west by J. Carlton. Vote of the Board: Ayes:- Messrs:
Gillispie, Grigonis, Hu~se.

RESOLVED that the Southold Town Board of Appeals set
9:10 P.M. (E.D.S.T.), Thursday, April 29, 1976 at the Town
Office, Main Road, Southold, New York as the time and place
of hearing upon application of Richard Kamps, North Road,
Southold, NeW York for a variance in accordance with the
Zoning Ordinance, Article III, Section 100-30 and Bulk
Schedule and Section 280A Town Law for permission to divide
property and set off lot with insufficient width and area.
Location of property: North side CR27 Middle Road, Southold,
bounded on the north by other land of applicant; east by A.
Paraska (now or formerly); south by CR27; west by L. Sawicki.
Vote of the Board: Ayes:- Messrs: Gillispie, Grigonis,
Hulse.
On motion by Mr. Grigonis, seconded by Mr. Hulse, it was
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Board of Appeals set
9:20 P.M. (E.D.S.T.), ThUrsday, April 29t 1976 at the Town
Office, Main Road, Southold, New York as the time and place
of hearing upon application of Joseph Elak c/o D. Aurichio,
Main Street, Greenport, New York for a variance in'accordance
with the Zoning Ordinance, Article III, Section 100-30 and
Bulk Schedule for permission to construct dwelling on lot
with insufficient width and area. Location of property:
South Harbor Road, Southold, New York, bounded on the north
by Bergman; east by Estate of C. H. WiCkham & Cosenzo;
south by A. Lief; west by South Harbor Road.

RESOLVED THAT THE Southold Town Board of Appeals set
9:30 P.M. (E.D.S.T.), Thursday, April 29, 1976 at the Town
Office, Main Road, Southold~ New yOrk as the time and place
of hearing upon application of Barbara E. Siegel, Vanston
Road, Nassau Point, Cutchogue, New York for a variance
in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance, Section 280A Town
Law, for permission to construct dwelling on interior lot
(lack of approved access to interior lot). Location of property:
East side Vanston Road, Cutchogue, bounded on the north by Posner
& Carrington Road; east by Posner & G. Ferend; sQuth by G.
Ferend & M. Bogathunes; west by Vanston Road.

i00-70A & Bulk Schedule for permission to construct office
building with insufficient side yard. Location of property:
South side (CR27) Middle Road, Southold, New York, bounded
on the north by CR27; east by R. W. Gillispie III; south by
D. Charnews; west by S. Me~delson & Ors.
