I., N.Y. 11971 Telephone 765-~660 MINUTES Southold Town Board of Appeal, s July 9, 1976 A special meeting of the Southold Town Board of Appeals was held at 11:00 A'~. (E.D.S.T.), Friday, July 9, 1976, at the Town Office, Main Road, Southold, New York. There were pres~{: Messrs: Robert W. Gillispie, Jr., Chairman; Robert Bergen; Fred Hulse, Jr.. The meeting was called by the Chairman for the purpose of reviewing applications which have been received by the Board since the July 1, 1976, meeting at which time three (3) appli- cations were reviewed and approved for hearing on July 22, 1976. The Chairman also read the following letters from the Suffolk County Planning Commission with regard to Appeal No. 2147, Long Island Kampgrounds, Inc.: July 6, 1976 Gentlemen: Pursuant to the requirements of Sections 1323 to 1332 of the Suffolk County Charter, the above captioned application which has been referred to the Suffolk .County Planning Commission is consid'ered~, to be a matt.e.g, for local determination. Clanton" for proposed changes of zone from "A" Agricultural and Residential to "M-l" General Multiple Residence District and "B" Light Business District, Town of Southold (SD-75-3) Dear Mr. Richmond: Pursuant to the requirements of Section ]323 to ]332 of the Suffolk County Charter, the Suffolk County Planning Commission on April 9, 1975 reviewed the above captioned zoning mctions and after due study and deliberation Resolved that said changes of zone are to be approved for local determination subject to compliance with the following conditions: 1. Public water supply and sanitary sewage disposal will be supplied by the Inc. Village of Greenport; 2. The number of campsites will be limited to 162 in com- pliance with "M-I" District requirements; 3. The buildings erected on Parcel II will bm only those used in connection with thansient travel trailer campgrounds; 4. A 100 ft. landscaped buffer zone comprising 0.4732 acres will be provided on the northerly portion of the~Ipr~s as it fronts on Middle Road (CR 27); and 5. (E.D.S.T.), ThurSday, July 22, 1976 at the Town Office, Main Road, Southold, New York as the time and place of hearing upon application of Rita Schmitd and Doris Schimatz (Corwin & Glickamn, attorneys), Rabbit Lane, East Marion, New York for a variance in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance, Article III, Section 100-32 for permission to erect accessory building in front yard area. (E.D.S.T.), Thursday, July 22, 1976 at the Town Office, Main Road, Southold, New York as the time and place of hearing upon application of Janet Buschman, Nassau Point Road, C~tchogue, New York for a varianc~ in accordance with the zoning Ordinance, Article III, Section 100-32 for per- mission to construct an accessory building in front yard area. Location of property: east side Nassau Point Road, Lot %77, Map of Nassau Point Properties, Nassau Point Road, Cutchogue, New York. Vote of the Board: Ayes: - Messrs: Gillispie, Bergen, Hulse. (E.D.S.T.), Thursday, July 22, 1976 at the Town Office, ~ain Road, Southold, New York as the time and place of hearing upon application of Harold J. & Ruth F. Ash, Wood Lane, Greenport, New York for a variance in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance, Article III, Section 100-30 and Bulk Schedule for permission to divide premises with dwell±~g into two lots. Location of p~rp- er%y: west side Wood Lane, Greenport, New York, bounded on north by J. Getches; east by Wood Lane; south by W. Hickson; west by Sterling Homes Subdivision. Vote of the Board: Ayes: - Messrs: Gillispie, Bergen, Hulse. On motion by Mr. Bergen, seconded by Mr. Gillispie, it was RESOLVED that the Southold Town Board of Appeals set 8:55 P.M. (E.D.S.T.), Thursday, July 22, 1976 at the Town Office, Main Road, Southold, New York as the time and place of hearing upon application of Walter W. Washburn, 1500 Bay Avenue, East Marion, New York for a variance in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance, Article III, Section 100-30 & Bulk Schedule for permission to set off lot on private right-of-way and approval of access. Location of property: right-of-way, west side of Bay Avenue, East Marion, New York bounded on north by right- 6~-way; east by Traffica, Schmidt & others; south by other land of applicant; west by Radford, Anderson & others. Vote of the Board: Ayes: - Messrs: Gillispie, Bergen, Hulse. On motion by Mr. Hulse, seconded by Mr. Bergen, it was RESOLVED that the Southold Town Board of Appeals sst 9:15 P.M. (E.D.S.T.), Thursday, July 22, 1976 at the Town Main Road, Southold, New York as the time and place hearing to be resumed upon application of Eastern Long Island Kampgrounds, Inc. by Richard C. Wilton, President, P.O. Box 89, 600 Queen Street, Greenport, New York (Wickham & Lark, attorneys) for a special exception'in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance, Article V, Section 100-50 B (5) and Article VI, Section 100-60 B (1) for permission to construct campground and trailer park. Location of property: South side North Road (CR27) and Street, Greenport, New York, bounded on the north by CR27 (North Road); east by Queen Street; west by Village of Greenport, now or formerly Fenno, now or formerly Francisco, now or formerly Sledjeski; south by Village of Greenport.
