SCTM# 1000-111-9-10 It is my recommendation that the a 15'x30' (450sq.ft.) deck between retaining wall and bulkhead is INCONSISTENT with Policy Standards and therefore is INCONSISTENT with the LWRP. Policy 4.1 Minimize losses of human life and structures from flooding and erosion hazards. The 15'x30' (450sq.ft.) deck between retaining wall and bulkhead is proposed to be located within a FEMA Flood Zone VE (Velocity Hazard). Structure in these areas should be relocated or minimized due to threat of repetitive loss and damage from storms. What is the purpose of the platform? Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.
