PROJECT UNDERSTANDING &SCOPE OF WORK Prosect Understanding We understand the Town would like to renovate the existing toilet rooms to be fully compliant with The American Disabilities ACT (ADA) and the 2020 New York State Building Codes. Upgrading toilet rooms may require the relocation of toilet fixtures and associated plumbing to accommodate necessary accessible maneuvering clearances. LKMA will provide architectural services to initially evaluate the existing toilet room facility. The evaluation will consist of the examination of all relevant architectural and structural, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning. The Town wants a "touchless environment"to be part of this renovation. Therefore Scope of Work LKMA will provide design plans and Bid specifications for renovations of the existing bathroom facilities located at the Southold Town Recreation Center. The new Toilet room design shall incorporate, but not limited to,the following: -All design elements required to ensure compliance with the American Disabilities Act. -New touchless (line-voltage) fixtures; sinks, urinal, toilets, towel dispensers, and soap dispensers. -Demolition and replacement of existing floor tile. -Trenching of on grade floor slab for new waste plumbing. -Replace toilet stalls and partitions. _ -Repainting of wall surfaces. -New ceiling finish. -New doors and entry privacy screen walls. -New signage.
