A similar project on this parcel was reviewed to the LWRP policies in September of 2019 and
recommended as Consistent. The project has been amended to construct two (2)2-story self-storage
buildings at 53,800 sq.ft. and 37,750 sq.ft.which includes a 300 sq. ft. office; and 18 parking stalls on
3.7 acres in the Light Industrial Zoning District.
The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of
Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP)Policy Standards. Based
upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department,
the proposed action is CONSISTENT with the LWRP.
The parcel is located within the major subdivision of The North Fork Industrial Park approved in January
of 2005.
Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written
determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.
