Upon receipt of an application for a Pre-existing Certificate
of Occupancy, I made an inspection of the building" on these premises.
I began this inspection at approximately 10:45 A.M. , starting with
the two-story, wood framed dwelling occupied by Mr. Aurichio.
The first floor consists of a living room with fireplace, a
T.V. -room, a front entry with hallway, a dining room with fire-
place, a bedroom with a stall shower, a half bath, and an eat-in
kitchen., The second floor has five bedrooms and a full bathroom.
Heat is furnished to all rooms from an oil-fired, steam heat furnace
located in the full cellar of building's cement block and stone
foundation. There are two wood framed accessory structures in the
rear yard area. The tenant building was not open for inspection of
interior. This building is a wood framed structure and is built on
. a cement block foundation. : There appears to be heat supplied to
the building since there is a gas heater vent which is cut through
.an exterior wall on the north side of building. -
.The following violations of the Housing Code, Chapter 52,
Town of Southold, New York, were found:
TWO-STORY DWELLING UNIT
Stairway - from first to second floor, no means of controlling
light for safe ascent and descent, Article II, Section 52-26 B (3) .
Kitchen area - entrance from exterior at. the rear of building
to the kitchen, no means of controlling light in room at
the point of entry, Article V, Section 52-56 B (2) .
TENANT BUILDING
Fresh air vent - for building's sewerage system on the south
side of building requires a perforated cover, Article V,
Section 52-51 C (8) .

Upon receipt of an application ,,for a Pre-existing Certificate
of Occupancy, I made an inspection of the building' on these premises.
I began this inspection at approximately 10:45 A.M. , starting with
the two-story, wood framed dwelling ',occupied by Mr. Aurichio.
The first floor consists of a : hiving room with fireplace, a
T.V. room, a front entry with hallway, a dining room with fire-
place, a bedroom with a stall shower,, a half bath, and an eat-in
kitchen. The second floor has five bedrooms and a full bathroom.
Heat is furnished to all rooms from an oil-fired, steam heat furnace
located in the full cellar of building's cement block and stone
foundation. There are two wood fram°ed accessory structures in the
rear yard area. The tenant building' was not open for inspection of
interior., This building is a wood ,f'ramed structure and is built on
_ a cement block foundation. There appears to be heat supplied to
the building since there is a gas heater vent which is cut through
an exterior wall on the north side of building.
The following violations of the'lHousing Code, Chapter 52,
Town of Southold, New York, were found:
TWO-STORY DWELLING UNIT
Stairway - from first to second,,floor, no means of controlling
light for safe ascent and descent, Article II, Section 52-26 B (3) .
Kitchen area - entrance from exterior at the rear of building
to the kitchen, no means of controlling light in room at
the point of entry, Article V, Section 52-56 B (2) .
TENANT BUILDING
Fresh air vent - for building's 'zewerage system on the south
side of bui ding requires a perforated cover, Article V,
Section 52-51 C (8) .
Inspection was completed at approximately 11:15 A.M.

Re: rental permit application
To avoid confusion, I have attached public record info for "The Cottage"
located at 51475 North Road, Southold NY 11971 ( SCTM#1000-135-2-9.3)
This property has two addresses- 51475 North Road is the address that is used
by the tenants, and the landlord as well. The property is identified with this
address in the lease also.
If you are checking town records, this parce[will show up on tax bills with an
address 21280 Soundview Avenue, Southold NY 11971, which is not used as a
mailing address or property location. ( by me or for tenant address) This address
is never used.
The other address that you will see associated with 51475 North Road is
51555 County Road 48 or North Road Southold NY 11971.This address shows
Lip on public record for the property as well. That is the address on paper which
is also NEVER USED. For some reason both house numbers came into being
when the town started to identify property by house numbers for rapid response
property ID- police, fire, medical ER and so on.
THE PROPERTY IS NEVER IDENTIFIED BY 51555 by mail, ER responders
etc.
