Dear Ms. Watson:
This letter is a follow up to your letter of October 22, 2021 wherein you detailed your
request to cut down one diseased tree (photo provided) and to prune the trees in your
backyard, which trees were detailed in your letter which,you provided. The Board of
Trustees reviewed your,request to remove the diseased tree and to prune the trees
designated that are within 100' of the wetlands, as-reviewed and seen by Trustee Greg
Williams:
The Board,of Trustees determined that the removal of the one (1) tree and the pruning
of the other treesrmay b-e,d'one::' N6 permit will be're' quired in order to do this work.
Any.:other activity within 100"of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is nota determination from any other agency.

This letter is to request approval to allow Jonathan Shipmen of Shamrock Tree
Service to cut down one diseased tree (pictures attached) in back yard of 3065
Wells Road, Peconic, NY , and within approximately 150 feet of normal high tide
on Richmond Creek and to also prune remainder of trees as noted below.
Shamrock surveyed area and plans to prune all trees close to house first, prune all
in front yard off Wells Road and only minor pruning in back yard will be required
of those trees off Richmond Creek.
Since there have been delays in the usual pruning of these trees, I have requested
this service to allow better air flow around my home and to prevent any damage
from falling dead branches.
