This letter is a follow up to your letter of November 17;,2021, along with photographs_.
The Board of Trustees reviewed your,request to remove;the three problematic trees as .
indicated at the above-named property, which-trees are within 100' of the wetlands, as
reviewed and seen by Trustee Glenn,Goldsmith:
The Board of Trustees determined that these trees-may be`removed at-this time. No
permit will be"required in-order to perf&m,this work.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a-permit from this office.
This is not a determination"from any other agency. .

Subject: Tree removal
Dear Diane,
There are several trees which need to be approved for removal.
Tree 1 a cedar tree which has split in half.
Tree 2 a fallen tree due to the condition shown at the base.
Tree 3 the trunk was damaged in a recent wind storm and I think it will lead to the tree dying. If it falls it could hit the
house deck.
All of the trees are on our property at 730 Sunset Avenue in Mattituck and are within the restricted distance from water,
Marratooka Lake.
I would be happy to have the Trustees come to look at the situation and to answer any questions they may have. I can
