Depths for the dock terminus are within Town Trustees, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and United States Army Corps. of Engineers guidelines and there; is no recognized Federal/New York State/Town navigation channel in the immediate vicinity of the 'proposed structure. • Scope: The proposed dock is comparable to docks on neighboring properties in an area where docks historically are used for commercial and recreational purposes. • Scope in relation to the riparian rights of shell fishers: The plan allows a standard fixed catwalk to float design that will not impede access, for those seeking shellfish and crustacea in season. • Environmental upkeep: The dock design projects a usual lifespan of 30 years with limited pile replacement so as to minimize disturbance of the bottom. THEREFORE, according to the foregoing, the Southold Town Board of-Trustees Approve and Authorize the preparation of a Notice of Negative Declaration pursuant to SEQRA for the aforementioned project.
