CREEK-AVENUE, CUTCHOGUE SCTM#! 1000-103-13-5.4 Dear Ms. Bradley: This letter is a follow up to your letter of September 24, 2021 wherein you detailed.your request to "health" prune the half dozen trees in your backyard, which trees were shown in photograph which you provided.. The Board-of-T_rustees reviewed your request to "health" prune the trees designated that are within 100' of the wetlands, as'reviewed and seen by Trustee Nicholas Krupski. The Board of Trustees determined that the pruning of these trees may be done. No permit will be required in,order to prune these trees. Any-other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office. This is not a determination from any other agency. We had a few large boughs crack off these trees already this year. We would remove suckers,water sprouts and vines from tree trunks.The pruning may include some lower branches removing some weight and lessening the stress on the trunks. Thank you! Then Trustee Krupski will review and I believe that it will not be necessary for you to apply for a permit - -that we will be able to issue you a letter authorizing you to do the pruning.
