LEGAL NOTICE
MATTITUCK PARK DISTRICT
NOTICE OF BUDGET VOTE AND MEETING
NOTICE is hereby given,as prescribed by Chapter 924 of the laws of the State of New York,
1941,as amended,of a meeting of the legal voters of the Mattituck Park District to be held on the
12th day of August,2021. Voting will take place from 5:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m.at the Mattituck Park
District Office,Veterans Memorial Park, 11280 Peconic Bay Boulevard, Mattituck, New York,for the
purpose of voting on the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2022. Meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Every person at the polling station over the age of two must adhere to social distancing
rules.
Applications for the absentee ballots may be obtained at the same location on Monday through
Friday between 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The absentee ballot application must be received by the District
Clerk at least seven (7) days prior to the vote and meeting if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter; or the
day before such vote and meeting if the ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter or his agent.
The ballot itself must either be delivered to the Mattituck Park District no later than one day before
the vote; or postmarked by a governmental postal service not later than the day before the vote and
received no later than the 7'h day after the vote.
Every resident who shall have resided in the Mattituck Park District for a period of thirty(30) days
next preceding the election, and whose name and address is within the boundaries of the Mattituck Park
District as set forth on the Suffolk County Board of Elections voter registration listing, shall be qualified to
vote.
The Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District have submitted the following estimate of
expenditures for said fiscal year 2022 and propose the same as said budget:

NOTICE is herebygiven;as prescribed by Chapter 924 of the laws of`

the Mattituck Park District Office,Veterans Memorial Park,.11280 Pe-

on the proposed revised budget for the fiscal year 2022.
Every person at the polling,station over the-age of two inust adhere
to social distancing rules. CDC Guidelines require that all unvac-
cinated persons are required to wear a mask upon entry into the
Community Room building
Applications,for the absentee ballots may be obtained at the same
location on Monday through Friday between 9:30 a.m.and 2:30 p.m.The,
absentee ballot application must be received by'the District Clerk at least
seven (7)days'prior to the-vote and'meeting if the ballot is to be,mailed to
the'voter;or the day before suchvote,and meeting.ifthe ballot is to be
delivered personally to the voter orbis agent.
The ballot itself must either be received by-the,Mattituck Park District the
day of the vote;or postmarked by a governmental postal service not later
