renumber cable television regulations in Title 9 NYCRR Subtitle R as Title 16 NYCRR

NYS Department of Environmental Conservation Notice of Complete Application of SC

Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute an Agreement with the Family Service
League of Suffolk County for the 2003 Southold Youth Services Program.
AuthoriZe and direct Supervisor Horton to execute an Agreement with the Suffolk County
Marine Environmental Learning Center for the Implementation of the 2003 Shellfish
Program at Cedar Beach,
Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute an agreement with individuals for the
Spring 2003 Recreation Programs.
Appoint Valerie Marvin, Esq. as the Hearing Officer in the disciplinary charges brought
against a Town employee, and suspend said employee for thirty days.
Accept the resignation of Luis Horn from his position as Fishers Island Bay Constable.
Accept the letter of intention to retire from James Fogarty, Public Safety Dispatcher.
Accept the bid of Trinity Transportation Corporation for the hauling and disposal of
municipal solid waste.
Amend the Deferred Compensation Plan for Employees of the Town of Southold by
adopting the amended and restated Model Plan effective January 1, 2003.
Authorize modification to the Employee Health Plan 2003 budget to address a budget
shortfall for increased premium amounts.
Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for Traffic Control Officers for the 2003
Summer Season.
Promote Michael Anasagasti to the position of full-time Construction Equipment Operator
in the Landfill Department.
Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute an agreement with the Department of
Environmental Conservation of the State of New York for the Mitigation of Shoreline
Erosion Damage Feasibility Study at Mattituck Inlet,
Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2003 budget for data processing

Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to implement the contract with the NYS
Department of Environmental Conservation under the Household Hazardous Waste State
Assistance Program in the amount of $97,500.
Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2003 budget for the West Road
Bulkhead.
Grant permission to Juan Antonia Secaida to locate two temporary one-family dwelling
house trailers on his property for a six-month period.
Authorize modification to the General Fund Part Town 2003 budget to cover overtime in
the Building Department.
Accept the bid of South Shore Docks, Inc. for the reconstruction and restoration of the
West Road Bulkhead.
Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for the purchase of one late model 1998
used truck chassis or equal for the Highway Department.
Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute an agreement with the Suffolk County
Department of Public Works for the installation of a traffic signal at CR 48 and Cox Lane,
Cutchogue.
Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to sign the Certificates of Compliance for the
Suffolk County Living Wage Law.
Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to sign the consent form for Albert J. Krupski, Jr.
to file a Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions related to public water connections for
proposed residential lots.
Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to sign an agreement with Prime Services in order
to participate in a group purchasing program for food and other supplies.
Authorize Town Planner Valerie Scopaz and another person to travel on a fact-finding
mission to Talbot County, MD to investigate their planning measures from March 16-18,
2003.
ApPoint Cheryl Kaswell to the full-time positiOn of Account Clerk Typist in the Senior
Services Department.

Grant permission to Pat Conklin, Damon Rallis and Michael Verity to attend Code
Enforcement Training during June, July and August at Suffolk County Fire Training
Academy.
Set 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2003, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a
public hearing on "A Local Law in Relation to Exemption for Disabled Persons with
Limited Income".
Set 8:05 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2003, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a
public hearing on "A Local law in Relation to Senior Citizens Exemption".
Increase the rates of TOwn employees in order to comply with the County's Living Wage
Law.
Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute an extension to the agreement with the
Civil SerVice Employees Association to help alleviate the Public Safety Dispatcher shortage
in the Town.
Request the enactment of Senate Bill No. 2479 and Assembly Bill No. A.5423 entitled "AN
ACT to Amend the Town Law and Chapter 114 of the Laws of the State of New York".
Deny the application of Zoumas Home Builders for a waiver from the provisions of the
temporary moratorium, Local Law #3 of 2002.
Approve the application of Edgar and Valerie Marvin for a waiver from the provisions of
the temporary moratorium, Local Law #3 of 2002.
Direct SuperVisor Horton to execute a contract with the NOrth Fork Animal Welfare
League.
Engage the professional serVices of The Nature ConserVancy to perform ConserVation
Planning, Acquisition, and Professional Services related to preservation efforts within the
Pipes Cove area.
Engage the professional serVices of the Peconic Land Trust to perform Stewardship
Services related to preservation efforts of the Town.
Engage the professional serVices of the Peconic Land Trust to perform Conservation
