Re-grading and re-seeding of existing lawn, 2. Installation of a sitting area, and 3. Installation of an outdoor shower. Tasks 1 and 2 have already been completed while Task 3 is proposed. The following is a description of each of the three tasks. TASK 1—Re-Grading/Re-Seeding The attached survey shows the edge of the existing lawn. Upon the purchase of the property during late-November 2020,a lawn had already existed at the location shown. However, this lawn had been poorly maintained and was overrun with ! weeds and eroded areas. Therefore, to restore the area back to its former state and eliminate the eroded areas, during late-April to early-May 2021 the area was regraded by hand and was re-seeded. Several yards of topsoil were used for regrading. A portion of the existing lawn area will be allowed to return to its native state. As shown on the survey, an area approximately 20 ft from the landward edge of the tidal wetlands will be revegetated with native species. This will allow for an ample buffer zone between the lawn and the tidal wetlands. A four-foot path to the catwalk will be.maintained through the native vegetation. The path will be covered with coarse gravel. TASK 2—Sitting Area The location and size of the sitting area is shown on the attached survey. The sitting area was constructed during April 2021. As shown on the survey, the existing sitting area is bordered on three sides by a timber wall. The maximum height of the timber wall is 18-inches on the west side. The area was backfilled with topsoil and is currently covered in mulch. The mulch may be replaced with coarse gravel. TASK 3—Outdoor Shower The location of the proposed outdoor shower is shown on the attached survey and an elevation drawing (viewed toward the east) is also attached. The shower shall be approximately 4 ft by 5 ft, with a 3 ft gate. The enclosure shall be constructed of PVC and shall be 7 ft tall. The floor of the proposed shower shall consist of coarse gravel to a depth of approximately 2-feet. Proper valves and drains shall be installed such that the exterior portions of the supply piping can be drained prior to the advent of below freezing temperatures.
