Based upon the information provided to this department as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed action is CONSISTENT with the LWRP-Policy Standards and therefore is CONSISTENT_with the LWRP, specifically: Policy 9. Provide for public access to, and recreational use of, coastal waters, public lands, and public resources of the Town of Southold. 9.9 Promote appropriate and adequate physical public access and recreation to coastal resources. 9.2 Protect and provide public visual access to coastal lands and waters from public sites and transportation routes where physically practical. 9.3 Preserve the public interest in and use of lands and waters held in public trust by the state and the Town of Southold. 9.5 Provide access and recreation that is compatible with natural resource values. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the reviewing agency shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.
