Dear Ms. Wilke:
This letter is a follow up to your letter of August 14, 2021. The Board of Trustees
reviewed your request to prune the trees designated-by Jonathan Shipman on site that
are within 100' of the wetlands, as reviewed and seen by Trustee Glenn Goldsmith.
The Board of Trustees determined that the pruning of these trees may be done. No
permit will be required in order to prune these trees.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

I recently moved into a home in Mattituck. I am seeking permission to risk reduction prune the trees within 100' of the
wetlands.The property address is 1035 Sebastian Cove Mattituck NY 11952.
1 met with Jonathan Shipman of Shamrock tree who asked me to contact you. He and his company will be doing the
work. I am including a few pictures as examples; I am concerned for my and my family's safety with all of the dead wood
in the big trees on our property. Please let me know what you need from me.Thank you
