The Southold Town Board of Trustees reviewed your letter received'in-this office on
August 12,-2021 and the site plan prepared by"Condon Engineering, P.C., received on
August 13, 2021, and determined that the proposed agricultural barn renovations are
within Trustee jurisdiction; but that pursuant-to Chapter 275-4(A)(1)(c) Permit
Exceptions: "The ordinary and usual operations relative to bona fide preexisting -
commercial agriculture and horticultural operations landward of the wetland boundary"
your project is considered exempt.
Therefore, in accordance with the current Wetlands Code (Chapter 275)_ no permit is
required.
This determination is not a determination from any other agency.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to call.

Attached please find the following for your review and approval-
One set of the proposed site plans
• Check for$50 for the application fee
• Authorization form
• Owner permission form
The Town of Southold Building Department is requesting a letter of non jurisdiction from the
Board of Trustees for the proposed agricultural barn renovation. The owner proposes to renovate
/reconstruct an existing 50'x 30' barn including the demolition of 26.3'x 50.5'collapsed addition
to the barn, removal of a dilapidated shed, removal of a mobile home and the removal of several
areas of debris and garbage near the barn area. The existing foundation and first floor are
proposed to remain and be repaired and reinforced as necessary. The project is located on the
east side of Indian Neck Lane 974' south of Spring Lane. The existing building is 82.3' from the
tidal wetlands and the portion of the building to be removed is 56.8'from the tidal wetlands.
