The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed action of replacing the stairs is CONSISTENT with the LWRP. Note that the protective function of the non-turf buffer will be reduced,by the new deck, which will cover approximately 56% of that area. Consider either a smaller boardwalk and deck, and/or larger non-turf buffers to mitigate any impacts to the function of the buffer. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action. cc: Damon Hagan, Assistant Town Attorney Town of Southold RECEIVED LWRP CONSISTENCYASSESSMENT FORM APR ® 5 2021 A.
