Dear Mr. Parrella:
On June 7, 2021 Trustee Domino conducted a field inspection at 1275 Mill Creek Drive,
Southold in response to a June 4, 2021 request from you. You were concerned that a
compromised tree seaward of your,home had created a hazardous condition and
accordingly sought Trustee.permission to remove said tree. Mature-trees with multiple
leaders often split after a major storm event. This particularly bifurcated tree leans
toward your home as well'as the creek and therefore poses a threat to your family and
other Southold residents.
Accordingly permission is.given to have an arborist remove this tree, and plant nearby a
1-1 Y" caliper deciduous tree of a species native to the area.
No permit will be required in order to remove this one (1) tree.
Any other activity within 100'.of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

I need permission to remove a tree from my property that has created a hazardous condition.This a double connected tree
that is very recently splitting down the middle.The tree is aimed to fall on the rear of my house and the entrance to the
