This_letter is a follow up to your letter of June 16, 2021. -The Board of Trustees
-reviewed your request to remove the dead tree that is problematic and within 100' of the
wetlands, as reviewed and seen by Trustee-Greg Williams.
The Board of Trustees determined that this tree may be,removed at this time with thea
,recommendation that-you consider planting a,replacernent tree further from the water.
No permit will be required in_order to remove this tree.
Any other activity,within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

My husband and I are looking to remove a scraggly, almost dead little tree at the edge of Stillwater Lake. Please
find a photo of the tree attached. It is the tree in the middle of the photo.

Southold Town and the Trustees are given permission to visit and access the property to review the tree.
