On 2/3/2021,1 observed the AC Unit Installation at the noted location. This installation
was noted during inspection by Southold town on 2%2%2021. The Town stated that the
installation needs be added to the Permit and requested the specifications.
To address this item the manufacturer's specification plates mounted on the equipment
were photographed. Copies of the photos are attached.

Inspection—Deck-Existing Footing
On 2/3/2021, I inspected the existing rear deck structure at the noted location. The
inspection covered the tooting for the wood deck. 1 he areas inspected included the below
grade footings. The inspection was completed using visual technics and minor excavation
to verify the concrete footing.
The inspection results are:
Items inspected included concrete footing that secure the wood support posts.
The footing work was done according to the standards for a raised exterior deck. The
footing was properly integrated into the deck framing. The footing is structurally
adequate for the intended purpose. The construction is in compliance with the NYS and
Southold Town Building Codes in force at the time if construction.
Result- The footing work, as verified by field inspection on 2/3/2021 is compliant with
all applicable codes.

On 2/3/2021, I inspected the rear exterior deck structure at the noted location. The
inspection covered the framing for the deck. The areas inspected included the support
posts, framing and surface. The inspection was completed using visual technics. The
framing was visible from the ground surface.
The inspection results are:
Items inspected included lumber size, dimensional spacing,bearing, and integration with
the concrete footings.
The framing work was done according to the standards for a raised exterior deck. The
framing was properly connected to the footings. The framing is structurally adequate for
the intended purpose. The wooden perimeter railing provides a correct installation for
safety conditions. The construction is in compliance with the NYS and Southold Town
Building Codes in force at the time if construction.
Result-The framing work, as verified by field inspection on 2/3/2021 is compliant with
all applicable codes.

On 2/3/2021, I inspected the existing structure at the noted location. The inspection
covered the tooting and foundation for the garage conversion. The areas inspected
included the footings and foundation. The inspection was completed using visual technics
from the exterior and from the basement.
The inspection results are:
Items inspected included slab foundation and masonry wall base.
The footing and foundation work was done according to the original plan for a garage.
The converted structure was properly integrated with the existing footing and foundation
to build the current occupied space. The footing and foundation are structurally adequate
for the intended purpose. The construction is in compliance with the NYS and Southold
Town Building Codes in force at the time if construction.
Result- The footing and foundation work, as verified by field inspection on 2/3/2021 is
compliant with all applicable codes.

walls, ceiling/roof. The inspection was completed using visual technics from the interior,

1 —Walls—Insulation provided and visually observed. Insulation provided rated as R-19,
based upon a 2"X 6"framing system. The insulation provided was done in compliance
with the applicable sections of the NYS and Southold Town Building Codes at the time
of construction.
