The address of the property is 42155 Main Road,Peconic. This is a three day event on Friday,June 4, Saturday June 5th and Sunday June 6th from 10 am to 5pm. Our property is 2.89 acres in size. It abuts both the Main Road(Rt 25) and Peconic Lane. We plan to hold the event outdoors in the rear grassy area of our property. This event celebrates the love and partnership with our pets and offers a unique and exciting way to see them in action while at the same time raising money for three well deserving charities. We will have a 10 x 10 tent set up to provide shade and shelter for the judges of this event. There will also be a small number of additional vendors attending the festival that will offer pet adoption from local shelters and dog related products for sale to attendees. These vendors will have their own 10x10 pop up tents for shade and shelter. This is a rain or shine event. We recognize the challenges of COVID-19 restrictions and will ensure that all safe practices including mask wearing and social distancing requirements are observed. We plan to limit the number of attendees to the maximum permitted outdoor number pursuant to the latest NY Forward guidance and restrictions as of the date of the event. We are attempting to secure the assistance of Stony Brook Medicine and Eastern Long Island hospital in providing an onsite vaccination tent to further encourage safe vaccinations as a convenience in attending the event. We will be permitting parking in both of our lots and allow for temporary parking in the employee only section as well. We will have signs directing traffic flow as well as restroom locations. There will be 8 exterior temporary restrooms,hand-washing stations and staff to monitor and keep these areas stocked and clean. There will be a perimeter established on all sides of our lawn/event area of the property that will block attendees from moving onto our adjoining vineyard property as well as provide the ability to limit the number of persons on the field. Visitors will be able to walk around our property and easily access the parking areas on the property provided they have a ticket for admission. We anticipate having enough parking on site to accommodate our guests, however,we will be providing off site parking that can accommodate up to an additional 150 cars if necessary. We will use facilities across the street on Peconic Lane for our employee parking during the event. The main tasting room will be open and strongly ventilated and in order to provide shelter and shade from sun or weather. The main location designated for attendees will be in the grassy area located on the north-east portion of the property. We anticipate that we will never have more than 450 guests in attendance at any one time. Security will be provided by Extreme Measures Security(EMS)and Nathaniel Richardson all dates. EMS is a duly licensed Watch Guard and Patrol agency in the State of New York.Nate Richardson 646- 387-8938 is the main contact for EMS. EMS will provide(1) Supervisor and up to (4)security/parking personnel on each date. They will ensure that all traffic arriving from the Peconic Lane and Main Road entrances will be moved quickly and safely into the designated parking areas, and will further seek to divert anyone from parking on the street. We will post No Parking Signs along the roadways in front of the brewery on Route 25 and Peconic lane to further emphasize that no one should be parking on the street. A clear fire lane will also be established at both the Peconic Lane and Main Road entrances from those roads with a free run to the event area. In the event of an emergency situation, personnel will contact the proper agency and direct them to that location. INGRESS Traffic: Guests arriving from Peconic Lane and the Main Road will be directed by PES Parking Personnel in marked safety vests and radio communication and will direct arriving guests to the parking area via the 35 foot wide entrances at each parking lot location. All vehicles will be self parked in a neat and organized row by row fashion. EGRESS Traffic: All departing guests will be guided by PES Parking Personnel onto Peconic and Main Road in an orderly and controlled fashion so as not to create a traffic congestion situation. PES Parking Personnel will have safety vests, lights and radio communication directing departing guests. The Southold Police will maintain full traffic control of the Public roadways, and PES will assist but will not be working on any public streets or roadways. Any and all debris left at any location or parking area will be removed and properly discarded at the conclusion of all events. It was the year prior to that when they filled the two Town building parking lots with their attendees and then made the correction. Most people traveling from out-of-town followed the directions to the two off-site parking lots, and parking attendants from the Brewery were stationed at each lot to facilitate the shuttles. I was skeptical about this parking adjustment, but it went pretty smooth. Our town buildings' parking lots can also be barricaded off if necessary. Very truly yours, DAVID ICH NOWICZ i THE GREENPORT BREWING COMPANY, LLC 42155 MAIN ROAD PECONIC, NEW YORK 11958 631-477-1100 Rich@Greenportbrew.com RICH VANDENBURGH JOHN LIEGEY Founder Founder PARKING PLAN / EVENT PLAN In connection with our application for a Special Event permit, please refer to the attached field plan which depicts the rear of our property and the layout for our North Fork Dog Dock Diving Festival for further reference. The address of the property is 42155 Main Road, Peconic. This is a three day event on Friday, June 4, Saturday June 5th and Sunday June 6th from 10 am to 5pm. We anticipate having enough parking on site to accommodate our guests, however, we will be providing off site parking that can accommodate up to an additional 150 cars if necessary. Security will be provided by Extreme Measures Security (EMS) and Nathaniel Richardson all dates. EMS is a duly licensed Watch Guard and Patrol agency in the State of New York. Nate Richardson 646- 387-8938 is the main contact for EMS. EMS will provide (1) Supervisor and up to (4) security/parking personnel on each date. Any and all debris left at any location or parking area will be removed and properly discarded at the conclusion of all events. a-C RECEIVED ® @ ,^ APR - 6 2021 Southold Town Clerk TOWN OF SOUTHOLD Town Code Chapter 205 "Public Entertainment and Special Events" SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT INSTRUCTIONS AND APPLICATION FORINT Applications for a Special Event Permit are subject to an inter-departmental coordinated review by the Southold Town Board,Town Attorney,Town Assessors,Land Preservation,Building,Planning,Zoning Board of Appeals and Police Departments, and the Suffolk County Planning Commission.
