Thank you for reaching out to Suffolk County. The event as proposed and depicted does not currently involve the
utilization of preserved Suffolk County farmland and,at this time,we do not have concerns that the proposed special
events will adversely impact the adjacent agricultural operation in which the County owns a preservation interest.
Please remind the applicant, as they likely already understand, that if the event described changes, and a portion of the
event will occur on the adjacent preserved Suffolk County property, they must apply for a separate special event permit
as required by Chapter 8.And only one such special event may be permitted per year.

(b) Special events.
[1] Such permit shall be necessary to conduct a special event where proposed on
agricultural land.
[z] A maximum of one special event may be held each calendar year per farm operation.
[3] No special event shall exceed two days of operation.
[4] No special event shall adversely impact the viability of the agricultural operation
and/or the associated natural resources, as determined by the Committee.
[6] All catered events shall be considered a special event and are subject to special
event permitting through the Committee.

I have no objections to this event taking place as described. The plan calls for a "qualified traffic controller"to be used at
the entrance to the park. I have no concerns of how they regulate traffic within the State Park, but I would remind the
organizers that the "controller" cannot direct traffic on State Rt.25 in front of the park at any time.
