Box 1179 Eric Sepenoski Southold,New York 11971 Liz Gillooly G � Telephone(631) 765-1892 Elizabeth Peeples off°® ® �® Fax(631) 765-6641 C®UfVT�(,� BOARD OF TOWN TRUSTEES TOWN OF SOUTHOLD December 16, 2022 Stephen Merkle & Erika Shalette 1800 Little Peconic Bay Road Cutchogue, NY 11935 RE: 1800 LITTLE PECONIC BAY ROAD a/k/a 3700 WUNNEWETA ROAD, CUTCHOGUE SCTIVI# 1000-111-14-20 Dear Mr. Merkle & Ms. Shalette: The following action was taken by the Southold Town Board of Trustees at their Regular Meeting held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022: WHEREAS, on November 18, 2022 an application for an Administrative Amendment was submitted requesting to increase the size of the previously approved 8'x'12 shed; and WHEREAS, on December 7, 2022 a Member of the Board of Trustees inspected said property for the proposed modification; and WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area; and, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all of the documentation submitted concerning this application; and, WHEREAS, the Board has previously granted approval for the shed by Administrative Permit#9692A measuring 8'x12'; and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees determined that the previously approved shed is located within the bank area and due to the fact that the proposed modification would expand the structure, there would be too much structure in the bank area which is 2 adjacent to the wetland; and therefore there is no justification for altering the prior actions of the Board; and -THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Board of-Trustees'DENY the- Administrative Amendment to Administrative Permit#9692A to construct an 8'x16' shed in lieu of the previously approved 8'x12' shed. Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office. This is not a determination from any other agency.
