The 'Board offrustees reviewed your request to remove the two (2) birch trees that are- -problematic and within 100' of the wetlands, and to prune seven (7) trees, as reviewed by Trustee Glenn Goldsmith. The Board of Trustees determined that these two trees may be removed at this time and the seven trees pruned. No permit will be required in order to remove these trees and prune the others. Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office. This is not a determination from any other agency. If you have any questions, please call our office at (631) 765-1892. Specifically, there are two birch trees (exhibits 1 and 2, attached) that are dying/dead that require removal to eliminate a dangerous situation (as you can see, one of them has had many upper branches breakoff already). Also shown (exhibits 3-6) are seven trees that require pruning of dead branches to ensure their continued health. We have engaged Shamrock Tree Services to perform this work and would appreciate your issuance of the necessary work permit to proceed. We are also happy to extend to you or any representative permission to come onto our property any time you'd like as part of this effort. If additional information is needed, I can be reached at 516 2419952 or febkev2@gmail.com. Thank you. EXHIBITI: TO BE REMOVED.
