Re: LWRP Coastal Consistency Review for DOLORES KREITSEK
SCTM# 1000-114-9-14.1
Suffolk Environmental Consulting, Inc., on behalf of DOLORES KREITSEK requests an
Administrative Permit for the as-built 564sq.ft. seaward side deck with steps and 36sq.ft. spa; and
landward 386sq.ft covered porch with generator. Located: 2455 New Suffolk Avenue, Mattituck.
SCTM#: 1000-114-9-14.1
The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the
Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy
Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form
submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that
the action is INCONSISTENT with the Policy Standards and therefore is INCONSISTENT with the
LWRP.
The as-built structures were constructed without the benefit of the Board of Trustee review and
issuance of a Wetlands Permit. If approved the following is recommended:
1. The installation of a vegetated, non-turf buffer to protect water quality.
Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its
written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.
