Dear Mr. and Mrs. Grasso:
In response to your-email sent to this office on May 27, 2020,
the Board of Trustees
reviewed your request to cut down and remove one tree located in your rear yard which
is leaning toward your home and to prune the two (2) trees to the right of same as seen
by Trustee Michael J. Domino on June 4, 2020, and as shown in photographs provided
by you.
The Board of Trustees determined that the tree may be removed at this time and the
other two (2) trees may be lightly pruned. No permit will be required in order to remove
this tree.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

Hi Diane.
Thanks for returning my call. We had Jonathan from Shamrock Tree Service at our home to review trees in need of
pruning. I mentioned that one tree in the rear of my yard was leaning towards my home. My concern is my master
bedroom is potentially in its path should it fall. He agreed basing his opinion on a concern that a nor easter would be
coming from the unobstructed water towards the house.Above are 2 pictures of the tree. I am asking permission to
remove this tree and at the same time do some light pruning of the 2 trees to the right.Anyone from your office who
wants to walk the property is welcome.
